The holiday flavor has always been students favorite season. Doing the prep has always b different students, so what better than having nothing to do with school for a while! During that period at that place is varied kind of event organized in the similaritys. In our neighborhood almost every year there was a association football tournament. Even though the tournament took place in our neighborhood, the tournament was open to teams from outside too. In fact more teams there were, better it was. Our neighborhood was often represented by twain different teams: FC Latin and FC Raïm.
Le Camps Lumumba or Le Camps Militaire is how our neighborhood was called and he was divided in ii part; officers on one side and non-commissioned officers on the other side. The division of the neighborhood was the only remarkable difference because people in there were not divided. They were not barrier. Soccer was the most touristy source of entertainment. I remember we used to play soccer every day after school and on the calendar week end too. People loved soccer a hazard and a little group decided to create a committee for organizing soccer tournament every holiday season to get people along. The campaign for the tournament often started forward classes close to make students aware of the big incoming event.
The rules were the kindred internationally agreed with just a little exception. In addition to the two existing teams in the neighborhood there were other fourteen teams coming from outside for the total of sixteen. These teams were pose in four groups of four teams each and the first two classified for each group were qualified to the warrant tour. From the second tour to the nett game teams play each other in one off-match with penalty shootouts used to determinate the victor in case of draw. The champion is the team that has won the final game.
