Weve been characterized by a list of negative adjectives; generations to begin with us think were lazy, ignorant, self-entitled, narcissistic, and stupid. We feel were entering the employment ambitious, competitive, upbeat, and confident. Only a person feeling the threat of a technologically savvy and competent generation could spin these qualities so negatively. Every generation before us has had to endure blame once they started entering the workplace; in the 80s it was Theyre so rude and rebellious and in the 60s it was Theyre just all a sight of hippies. So even though its the Millennials turn to veritableise these insults, we know that our generation is to a greater extent motivated, more confident, more competitive, and more active in society than every generation before us.
We are a generation that is more competitive than any other generation before us. In order to be competitive, we need to be confident. Our parents foresaw that we were going to be up against firm competition and they prepared us for it. They told us that we could grow up to be any matter we wanted it to be, be it an astronaut, a doctor, or a lawyer. They told us we were smart and special because they knew we would need to believe in ourselves if we wanted to succeed.



My parents always told me I had to succeed in school, and if I didnt that meant facing the dire consequences of failure in real life, whatever that might be. And the way to succeed now is to drag a degree from a erect university or else youre stuck with a high school diploma and minimum affiance jobs for the rest of your life.
My dad always told me that the most important thing in my life was puffting straight As (Bs werent accepted even though its considered above average) so I could get into a good university.
