The big difference between FFA and 4-H is in FFA you have to work as a team if you want to go to state, but in 4-H it is entirely up to you and how much work you put into things to go to state. With FFA completely of the competitions are based around having a team. FFA teaches you to work with others, enchantment 4-H is an own your own organization. In 4-H, you are part of a order of magnitude, but you do the projects by yourself. You have to work with others when the club does projects for the community, but you have to work on your own to breed your projects done. FFA has various competitions called Career victimisation Events (CDE), but in 4-H there are just different projects. In FFA there are different CDEs like Agronomy, Floriculture, glasshouse/Landscape, Food Science, Public Speaking and many more.



In 4-H there is Foods and Nutrition, Arts and Crafts, Crops, Clothing Construction, and many more. Some of the same activities are Livestock Judging, Entomology, and channelizeing livestock at the county fair. If a FFA subdivision lives in Washington County and want to show livestock at the fair they nates enter in the FFA division. Most spate that are in FFA are in 4-H and most of the early days in 4-H grow up and join FFA. Even though there are differences some of what is done in 4-H can also be done in FFA.
