As a Teenager

As a teenager, adapting to my environment is an expression that I never perspective would apply to me. I thought it was conscionable a statement that explained the obvious. As far back as I could remember I have invariably enjoyed angle when I used to live in Florida. The deep sea seek in Florida was fast paced and exhausting at times. There was such a vast variety of fish, every time you raiment the hook on that point was no telling what you were about to reel-in: Shark, Grouper, scandalmongering tail, Tuna, Marlin even Eel depending on the ara. The bait was endless as rise up: Shrimp, Chum, hearing and so on. It was fun and fairly easy because you could just pick up a rod and reel, cast out, depend on back and enjoy what makes Florida so beautiful. After I graduated high school, I distinguishable to join the Air Force and see the world. Fishing was something al focuss in the back of my mind. Eventually when I was stationed in gird Dix, NJ, I met Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Blocker, who invited me to go fishing with him. The thought of fishing in a new area sounded good-hearted to me. To enjoy some time off and take in the beautiful outdoors of what New Jersey had to offer. The Florida waterways compared to New Jerseys was solely different.



The tide was much mellower, the fish not so luxuriant and the fishing was confined to lakes and rivers. The water was murky compared to the crystal game water that I was used to. How people fished here to a fault seemed completely new to me. The rods were shorter; the reels were lighter and most importantly the way people fish seemed odd to me. Here you have to graze to get the fishes attention, using the right bait and now a multitude of lures. The fact that I am now fishing in fresh water meant in certain areas there are few if any different species of fish.
