Three of the most famous literature from ancient civilizations are the writings of Confucius, Hammurabis code of laws, and Egypts Book of the Dead. At first, they seem very antithetical, theyre from different times, regions, and religions, but they all offer a peek into what set ancient people considered important.

This stresses personal responsibility and respect to your parents.
