Sukkot festival traditions are the last of the fall festivals; Jewish people go by dint of days of judgment, and then seek forgiveness, and finally it is time for jubilancy of the new life for the New Year. Sukkot is a tri providede to the 40 years of wandering that the Jewish did in the desert extinct front the Israelites entered the land of Canaan. (Molloy, 2010) More than 3,000 years ago, the Jewish people were slaves to the Egyptian Pharaoh. Of course the Jewish people only serve God, and so He sent them Moshe who led the Jewish people out of Egypt. But when they left, they were in the desert for 40 years. The desert is angry and dry, they were weak and tired, and they had to live in a Sukkot. (Totally Education, 2008) Sukkot lasts for seven days; on the first day of Sukkot you start building your shelter. traditionally the Sukkah has two and a half walls and it is built under the stars.

The history space must be large enough for a person to sit and keep a small panel; the walls need to be sturdy enough to withstand wind. The jacket crown of the Sukkah (called a schach) must be covered with material that grows from the settingâ€"such as branches and leaves. The schach must be covered importantly so that it gives more shade than sun in the daytime, but should allow stars to be visible through the roof at night.
